Currently, for our Scandinavian Client – distributor of containers, we are looking for the candidate to fill the position:

Transport Planner

Your main tasks will be:

• Organisation and coordination of transportation/delivery of 50 different types of waste containers in response to orders
• Optimization of cargo transportation
• Collaboration with freight forwarders, transportation companies, customs agencies, and logisticians
• Close cooperation with factories producing containers located in Poland and Latvia
• Monitoring the progress of production processes in factories and the quality of manufactured containers
• Close collaboration with the Operations Manager
• Registration/update of events in the Visma system
• Weekly reporting on the progress of orders with suppliers
• Negotiation of terms of cooperation with transportation companies
• Preparation and verification of transportation documents
• Verification of invoices.

• Salary approx. 8 000 – 13 000 PLN

Requirements :

• Good communication skills in English (both orally and in writing)
• Relevant logistics/transport /supply chain working experience
• Knowledge about waste containers and hooklift containers that will be a plus
• Knowledge of the Russian language is an asset
• Driving licence cat. B
• Ability to work under the pressure
• Drawing attention to details
• Positive attitude.
